Custom-designed steel profile manufacturing
Different types of steel, sizes and shapes for custom special profiles
Custom steel profiles are designed and manufactured to the customer’s specific requirements. They can be made of different types of steel and come in a variety of sizes and shapes. Their geometries can range from simple “L” or “U” shapes to more complex profiles with curves, grooves or special cross sections. They are so versatile that they can be adapted to specific applications, and they perfectly meet technical requirements.
Custom special profiles can be widely applied in many industrial sectors where they are used to provide structural support, as functional elements, guides, and for many other purposes. Customized profiles deliver excellent performance and greater efficiency in the projects for which they are used.
At Calvi, we make custom-designed special profiles in a wide range of steel types: common, carbon, surface-hardening, alloy and stainless steel. We offer several manufacturing technologies, including cold drawing, cold rolling and hot rolling. Each technology is appropriate for producing specific types of profiles. These forming technologies minimize waste and surplus material during the machining process, and so reduce production costs.
To guarantee a full customized service, we offer a range of additional services to our customers. These include sampling, custom cutting, additional product testing and analysis, machining, heat treatment, surface treatment and dedicated packaging solutions.
